Jackolof Bay Water Taxi
Jakolof Bay is a hidden gateway in Kachemak Bay. Once there, there is road access to McDonald Spit and the scenic fishing community of Seldovia. This town was once the third largest city in Alaska.
Today it is known for its commercial fishing operations and local oyster farms. The public dock is a popular meeting point at the Bay. The views are amazing and the hiking trails to Red Mountain provide abundant salmonberry and blueberry picking in late summer. This is also a popular place for people to bring their 4-wheelers. *
